To celebrate this mothers day, I would like us to reminisce on some of the infamous lines our mothers used on us to enforce discipline. Some of these lines rubbed us so wrong that we swore never to use them on our kids.<\/p>\n

With teary eyes, she dashes into her room and comes out wearing a full neck. \u201cHappy now<\/em>\u201d she whines.\u00a0 \u201cVery, that\u2019s how a self-respecting lady should dress\u201d her mother calmly responds.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> \u201cWho do you think you\u2019re talking to?\u201d<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> \u201cBefore the suns sets, your feet need to be in this house!\u201d<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> \u201cBecause I said so!\u201d<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> \u201cI brought you into this world, and I can as well take you out!”<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> “Just WAIT till your father gets home!”<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> \u201cSomeone better be bleeding\u201d.<\/p>\n
